As part of its role Government Office for the North West
has good links with business organisations throughout the region and works
closely with the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
We have been
active in:

organising regional
visits by Ministers and senior civil servants, to meet a range of
businesses and business representatives;

working with Government
Office colleagues and strategic partners in the North West on issues
that have an impact on business including planning, skills, transport
and crime;

feeding back business
concerns and views
to BIS;
