Connexions is the Government's support service for all young people aged 13 to 19 in England. It ensures that young people have the support needed to help them make a smooth transition to adulthood and to working life. Government Offices currently monitor the Connexions Service to ensure it delivers effectively.

From 1 April 2008 the information, advice and guidance offered by Connexions partnerships is being delivered through local authority Children’s Trusts arrangements. The Government Office will facilitate a smooth and successful transition and ensure the high quality service for young people is maintained.
