Connexions

Connexions involves a radical new approach to advising, guiding and supporting young people aged 13 to 19. It ensures young people get the help and support they need to reach their full potential, making an effective transition to work and adult life.

Connexions is the Government's support service for all young people aged 13 to 19 in England. It ensures that young people have the support needed to help them make a smooth transition to adulthood and to working life. Government Offices currently monitor the Connexions Service to ensure it delivers effectively. More information on the national picture

From 1 April 2008 the information, advice and guidance offered by Connexions partnerships is being delivered through local authority Children’s Trusts arrangements. The Government Office will facilitate a smooth and successful transition and ensure the high quality service for young people is maintained.

Further information can be found on the main Connexions website.
